Cleveland sting catches 34 of 38 wanted BBE 900 gang members

CLEVELAND - Prosecutor Timothy McGinty says 299 charges have been filed against 38 BBE 900 gang members.

The charges, formally filed on Tuesday , are for 26 juveniles and 12 adults.

On Wednesday, McGinty said 34 of the 38 wanted gang members were taken into custody.

The Prosecutor’s Office says the suspects charged have been involved in:

  • Assaults
  • Break-ins
  • Burglaries
  • Kidnappings
  • Murder
  • Robberies
  • Shootings

Many of the acts have been committed in public places, according to McGinty, including parks and RTA stations.
