CMSD supervisor sentenced for sixth OVI

Cleveland -- Cleveland Municipal School District Security Supervisor Sgt. Kendall Fortson was sentenced Wednesday to 85 days in jail.

Fortson appeared in court for his sixth OVI.

Highland Hills Police stopped him during the early morning hours of Dec. 21, 2013 when he drove the wrong way down a divided street. Cops also recovered a loaded handgun from Fortson's vehicle.

Fortson plead guilty on April 9, 2014, to driving while under the influence and one count of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.
