Conspirator in Euclid retirement home slaying found guilty
Eddie Brownlee never pulled a trigger or even wielded the gun used to kill a 63-year-old resident of Euclid's Indian Hills Senior Community. But a jury found him guilty of aggravated murder.
Brownlee, 48, was the mastermind behind a conspiracy to kill Rob Williams in November 2015, according to prosecutors. Two others are awaiting prison sentences after pleading guilty in the case.
Brownlee was convicted on one count of aggravated murder, two counts of murder, one count of felonious assault and one county of conspiracy, among other charges and will face mandatory prison time.
He is returning to the same jail where he made phone calls to the co-conspirators during the case. The prosecutors presented jailhouse recordings of those calls during the trial.
